Famous Coffee Drinkers
Here is a list of famous coffee drinkers! From genius composers to hunky vampires.
Forever famous musician Ludwig van Beethoven was serious when it came to his coffee. He only drank coffee that he himself made and when he did, he always counted 60 beans per cup. Never a bean more, never a bean less.
Voltaire the French philosopher was known to drink 50 cups of coffee a day! He would even pay his servants exuberant amounts of money if they were able to find his favourite coffee beans.
Johann Sebastian Bach was another musician and a coffee lover. Bach was so much of a bean lover that he actually composed a piece on coffee called The Coffee Cantata. One of his lines goes, "If I can't drink my bowl of coffee three times daily, then in my torment, I will shrivel up like a piece of roast goat".
On a lighter note, the entire cast of Friends loved their coffee! Their favourite hang out was the Central Perk coffee shop, where most of them would always be drinking a coffee. Coffee shop culture became really popular as we emerged ourselves in the lives of each character.
Canadian funny man Mike Myers is said to apparently love a cappuccino. He even had a skit on Saturday Night Live called “Coffee Talk With Linda Richman” where he acted like a middle-aged woman who loved to talk and have coffee.
Twilight star Robert Pattinson actually prefers an espresso to a fresh pint of blood. It’s almost rare to see him on his own time without an espresso. He really likes to savour his coffee off-set.
