Top 3 Coffee Resolutions
A new year calls for a new coffee mug!
And with this new mug (which we probably got over the Holidays) comes new resolutions. I personally have a few coffee-related resolutions I would like to share with you.
Grinding
I grind my coffee once in a while, but it’s kind of like going to the gym only once a month—to really see a difference, you need to do it more often! I’ve come to appreciate coffee more than anything over the last year and in 2012, I want to take things up a notch by freshly grinding my coffee for every cup I make using my French press. A truly fresh cup requires quality beans that are freshly ground and brewed. For 2012 I resolve to drink more “fresh” cups of coffee.
Cleaning
This is a two-part resolution. The first is to keep my own coffee maker clean. Even after making a video
about keeping machines clean, I still tend to drop the ball—and I bet I’m not alone. This clearly affects your coffee and your brewer. The second is to make sure the people around me keep the machine clean. In 2012, I resolve to use only clean coffee machines.
Exploring
All coffees are not created equal. They come from different countries and regions and have different flavours. I've been loving my Africana coffee and rarely stray from it apart from the occasional flavoured cup from my Keurig® brewing system. Clearly I'm true to my Coffee Profile : Velvety & Fruity. For 2012, I resolve to try different coffees and explore new flavours, venturing in other intensities and perhaps even with some Woodsy coffees!
