Bourbon and lemon iced tea
What’s better than a refreshing cocktail on a Friday afternoon? After a long work week, here’s a recipe that’s both easy to make and tasty. We’re going to cheat a little, just this once: the recipe below is actually made with tea!
Ingredients
- 1 Brew Over Ice K-Cup® pack of Celestial Classic Iced Tea
- The juice of half a medium-size lemon (or half a Meyer lemon, if you’re able to find it in the grocery store. It’s a bit bigger and sweeter than regular lemons.)
- 1 ½ ounces of bourbon (if you find the taste of bourbon too strong, you can replace it with vodka or almond liqueur)
- 1 tsp. brown sugar
- Ice cubes
- A lemon slice for garnish
Preparation
In a large 16-ounce tumbler filled with ice, combine the bourbon, sugar and lemon juice.
Select the six- or eight-ounce format option and brew the iced tea over ice using your Keurig brewing system.
Decorate the glass with a lemon slice.
Enjoy!
